It started with a drawing. The artwork for FEBRE90'S, the São Paulo rap duo, is by WIZZO, and that line work is what made us reach out. The result is this four-color COMBO: a solid paint marker handmade in Barcelona by SOLID COMBO LABS®, wearing FEBRE90'S imagery on the label.
Tudo começou com um desenho. A arte da FEBRE90'S, a dupla de rap de São Paulo, é do WIZZO, e foi esse traço que fez a gente mandar mensagem. Daí nasceu este COMBO de quatro cores: um marcador de tinta sólida feito à mão em Barcelona pela SOLID COMBO LABS®, com a identidade da FEBRE90'S na etiqueta.

FEBRE90'S is SonoTWS on the beats and PumaPJL on the lyrics. São Paulo rap with graffiti in its bloodstream. You hear it in every bar, every beat and in the way they understand and make music.
FEBRE90'S é SonoTWS nos beats e PumaPJL nas letras. Rap de São Paulo com o grafite no sangue: dá pra sentir em cada rima, em cada beat e no jeito que eles entendem e fazem música.
Sono reps TWS, one of the strongest and most respected crews in São Paulo. So this collaboration didn't need much explaining. Another bridge between the streets of São Paulo and Barcelona.
Sono representa a TWS, uma das crews mais fortes e respeitadas de São Paulo. Com isso, a collab não precisava de muita explicação. Era mais uma ponte entre as ruas de São Paulo e as de Barcelona.

How it came together
Como tudo começou
We started talking online. What caught our eye first was the group's artwork, a style that looks like nobody else's. Talking with Sono, we recognized ourselves in the project and its values, and doing something together happened naturally.
A gente começou a trocar ideia pelas redes. O que chamou atenção primeiro foi a arte do grupo, um estilo que não se parece com nada. Conversando com o Sono, a gente se identificou com o projeto e com os valores, e fazer algo junto rolou naturalmente.
In May 2025 we invited Sono to our studio in Barcelona. It was the first time he tried our tools, and a chance to get to know each other better.
Em maio de 2025 a gente convidou o Sono pro nosso estúdio em Barcelona. Foi a primeira vez que ele testou nossas ferramentas e a chance de se conhecer melhor.

We have a lot of love for Brazil. Building something between the two projects and connecting through graffiti, the thing both share, was clear from day one.
A gente tem um carinho enorme pelo Brasil. Buscar sinergia entre os dois projetos e se conectar pela cena do grafite, que é o que une os dois, ficou claro desde o começo.

A year later, in May 2026, FEBRE90'S toured Europe: Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon. On May 20 they played Jamboree in Barcelona and invited us. We went with our friend Keps, a pixador, who told us about TWS. That night we caught up with Sono again, met Puma in person and handed over the order. The markers were finished, the label already printed, ready to fly to Brazil and wait for the right moment to launch.
Um ano depois, em maio de 2026, a FEBRE90'S fez turnê pela Europa: Dublin, Londres, Amsterdã, Berlim, Barcelona, Porto e Lisboa. No dia 20 de maio eles tocaram no Jamboree, em Barcelona, e chamaram a gente. Fomos com nosso amigo Keps, pixador, que contou pra gente sobre a TWS. Naquela noite reencontramos o Sono, conhecemos o Puma pessoalmente e entregamos o pedido. Os marcadores já estavam prontos, com a etiqueta já impressa, pra viajar pro Brasil e esperar o momento certo do lançamento.

The label: by hand, from scratch
A etiqueta: à mão e do zero
WIZZO handled the entire visual. It is the first SOLID COMBO LABS label built from scratch without our usual branding. Everything hand-drawn by him, down to the instructions.
O WIZZO cuidou de toda a imagem. É a primeira etiqueta da SOLID COMBO LABS feita do zero, sem a nossa identidade de sempre. Tudo desenhado à mão por ele, até as instruções.
Being a short run, we gave him room to break from the standard template. To represent the marker, he drew the main FEBRE90'S character tagging a cop's backside. That scene is now the launch animation for the collab.
Como era uma tiragem curta, ele teve liberdade pra sair do modelo de sempre. Pra representar o marcador, ele escolheu o personagem principal da FEBRE90'S fazendo um tag na bunda de um policial. Essa cena virou a animação de lançamento da collab.

Why these four colors
Por que essas quatro cores
The starting point was red and yellow, FEBRE90'S colors. From there we opened it up to four: red, blue, green and yellow. Basic, raw and powerful colors, just like their rhymes and instrumentals.
O ponto de partida foram o vermelho e o amarelo, as cores da FEBRE90'S. A partir daí abrimos pra quatro: vermelho, azul, verde e amarelo. Cores básicas, cruas e fortes, como as rimas e os beats deles.
What is a solid paint marker, and how does a COMBO work?
O que é um marcador de tinta sólida e como funciona um COMBO
A solid paint marker holds the paint as a stick, not as a liquid. No shaking, no priming the tip: the stick goes straight onto the surface.
Um marcador de tinta sólida tem a tinta em bastão, não líquida. Não precisa agitar nem carregar a ponta: o bastão vai direto na superfície.
How it's made
Como é feito
We built the whole process from scratch in Barcelona, and it keeps evolving. We are constantly adjusting how we work and the machinery we use, to produce faster and at a higher quality.
Todo o processo foi desenvolvido do zero em Barcelona, e não para de mudar. A gente ajusta o jeito de trabalhar e o maquinário o tempo todo pra produzir mais rápido e com mais qualidade.
For COMBOS, the paint is poured into molds shaped for each combination. From there everything is by hand: picking the colors, assembling the combo and loading it into the body.
Nos COMBOS, a tinta é despejada em moldes com o formato de cada combinação. Daí pra frente é tudo à mão: escolher as cores, montar o combo e colocar no corpo do marcador.
The stroke
O traço
A COMBO puts several colors into one stick. Here, four. A single stroke lays them down together on the surface.
Um COMBO junta várias cores num mesmo bastão. Neste caso, quatro. Um único traço deixa todas juntas na superfície.
Speed and rotation change everything. Depending on how you move the marker you get different effects, and with practice you can control which color comes through at any moment.
A velocidade e o giro do marcador mudam tudo. Dependendo de como você move, consegue efeitos diferentes, e com prática dá pra controlar qual cor sai em cada momento.

Surfaces
Superfícies
It writes on almost anything: glass, cardboard, metal, over dust and even underwater. It performs best on surfaces that aren't too rough, and when the colors contrast with the background.
Pinta em quase tudo: vidro, papelão, metal, em cima de poeira e até debaixo d'água. Rende melhor em superfícies pouco rugosas e quando as cores contrastam com o fundo.
Drying and wear
Secagem e desgaste
Drying time depends on the temperature, but on average it's dry in about 5 minutes. Thicker spots take a little longer. Rough surfaces wear the stick down faster. Work the edges and look after it, and it lasts. It takes practice.
A secagem depende da temperatura, mas em média em uns 5 minutos está seco. Onde a camada fica mais grossa, demora um pouco mais. Em superfícies rugosas o bastão gasta mais rápido. Se você vai trabalhando as quinas e cuida bem, ele aguenta bastante. Tem a sua prática.

During their days in Barcelona we went out painting together, to test the tool and have a good time. That is how you test a marker: on a wall, in the hands of people who actually use it.
Nos dias que eles passaram em Barcelona a gente saiu pra pintar junto, testar a ferramenta e curtir. É assim que se testa um marcador: na parede e na mão de quem usa de verdade.
